The information herein was obtained from multiple sources, we do not guarantee its accuracy or completeness.

The performance data contained herein represents past performance which does not guarantee future results. Investment return and principal value will fluctuate so that shares, when redeemed, may be worth more or less than their original cost. Current performance may be lower or higher than the performance quoted. For performance information current to the most recent month end, please contact us.

All total returns assume the reinvestment of all dividend and capital gain distributions at net asset value when paid. All total returns without sales charge do not reflect the deduction of the current maximum sales charge or the applicable contingent deferred sales charge or any applicable redemption fee. Had those charges been deducted the results would have been lower than shown.

All total returns with sales charges assume the deduction of the current maximum sales charge or payment of the applicable contingent deferred sales charge but do not include any applicable redemption fee. During prior years, certain classes of shares may have been offered at a higher maximum sales charge. Therefore, the average annual returns may have been somewhat lower than noted.

Definitions for investment terms are available in the Glossary.

Merrill Lynch, Pierce, Fenner & Smith Incorporated offers its products, accounts and services through different service models (for example, self-directed, full-service). Before investing consider carefully the investment objectives, risks, and charges and expenses of the fund, including management fees, other expenses and special risks. This and other information may be found in each fund's prospectus or summary prospectus, if available. Always read the prospectus or summary prospectus carefully before you invest or send money. Important Risk Disclosures:
Investing involves risk, including the possible loss of principal. Investments in sector funds, including technology or real estate stocks, are subject to substantial volatility due to adverse political, economic or other developments and may carry additional risk resulting from lack of industry diversification.

International investing presents certain risks not associated with investing solely in the U.S. These include, for instance, risks related to fluctuations in value of the U.S. dollar relative to the value of other currencies, custody arrangements made for a fund's foreign holdings, political and economic risk, differences in accounting procedures, and the lesser degree of public information required to be provided by non-U.S. companies. Foreign securities may also be less liquid, more volatile and harder to value, and may be subject to additional risks relating to U.S. and foreign laws relating to foreign investment. These risks are heightened when the issuer of the securities is in a country with an emerging capital market.

Funds that invest in small or mid-capitalization companies experience a greater degree of market volatility than those of large-capitalization stocks and are riskier investments. Bond funds have the same interest rate, inflation, and credit risks associated with the underlying bonds owned by the fund.

Generally, the value of bond funds rises when prevailing interest rates fall and falls when interest rates rise. Investing in lower-grade debt securities ("junk" bonds) may be subject to greater market fluctuations and risk of loss of income and principal than securities in higher rated categories. There are ongoing fees and expenses associated with investing. Bear in mind that higher return potential is accompanied by higher risk. Income from investing in municipal bonds is generally exempt from Federal and state taxes for residents of the issuing state. While the interest income is tax-exempt, any capital gains distributed are taxable to the investor. Income for some investors may be subject to the Federal Alternative Minimum Tax (AMT).

Some of the risks involved with equities include the possibility that the value of the stocks may fluctuate in response to events specific to the companies or markets, as well as economic, political or social events in the U.S. or abroad.

Investment funds are subject to market volatility and the risks of their underlying securities. In addition, each fund has its own specific risk profile and investment strategies detailed in its prospectus or other offering material (which for certain ETFs includes the risk of leverage and/or inverse exposure to an underlying basket of securities), which must be considered carefully before making an investment decision.

A Merrill Lynch short-term redemption fee may be charged on the redemption of funds held for 90 days or less purchased through your Merrill Edge account. The Merrill Lynch short-term redemption fee is distinct from, and in addition to, any redemption fee charged by the Fund. Fund shares may be redeemed directly with the Fund without payment of the Merrill Lynch short-term redemption fee.

Merrill Edge Select Funds, while not intended as a recommendation or endorsement of any particular mutual fund, allows you to review funds by Morningstar category that meet a proprietary Merrill Lynch screening standard to help you identify investments that are in line with your personal needs and investment objectives.

Some mutual funds, such as Blackrock Inc. and Columbia Funds, that appear in the Merrill Edge Select™ Funds listing may not be available to purchase in Bank of America and Merrill Lynch employee and employee-related accounts. In some cases, there are more advantageous share classes available to purchase. Please utilize the Mutual Fund Screener or contact us for more information.

In addition to receiving dealer concessions and asset-based sales charges and/or services fees in connection with clients' purchasing and holding mutual fund shares, Merrill Lynch and its affiliates provide other services for which they may receive additional compensation from funds or their affiliates. This compensation is generally disclosed in a fund's prospectus, and if available, the summary prospectus, statement of additional information or website. For specific mutual fund family compensation information, please contact us.

Not all classes of shares may be available to every investor or to every account in that investor's name. Furthermore, those classes of shares that you would be eligible to purchase may be subject to ongoing account maintenance and/or distribution fees, which will affect the performance of such shares. Certain limitations may apply. Merrill Lynch receives remuneration from participating fund companies.

Sales Charge schedule does not reflect any special purchase privileges that may be available to certain investors such as waivers and rights of accumulation. The value of mutual fund shares held away from Merrill Lynch may be used to calculate sales charge discounts. Investors must provide sufficient information of ownership of shares held away from Merrill Lynch to receive the proper discount. Discounts and waivers on front-end sales loads may be available to you depending on the terms set forth in the fund's prospectus and/or statement of additional information. Additionally, less expensive share classes may be available to you depending on the eligibility of terms set forth in the fund's prospectus and statement of additional information. The conditions under which these discounts, waivers or beneficial share classes are available vary among fund families. These discounts, waivers or beneficial share classes may be available only if you purchase directly from the mutual fund company or its distributor, or through other financial intermediaries, and not through Merrill Lynch. The availability of discounts, waivers of front-end loads or beneficial share classes may also vary depending on the Merrill Lynch service model you select. Consult your Merrill Lynch Financial Advisor, Financial Solutions Advisor or Investment Center representative and check the fund's prospectus, statement of additional information, and website to obtain fund-specific information on front-end sales load discounts, waivers and eligibility for beneficial share classes.

While no-load funds do not assess sales charges, fund shares are subject to management fees and certain other expenses. Redemption fees may also apply.

Front-end load schedule does not reflect any applicable contingent deferred sales charge for certain purchases made at NAV. Consult the prospectus for more information. Sales Charge schedule also does not include information about Merrill Lynch programs in which certain classes of participating funds are sold at NAV. These programs charge an on-going fee for assets held in the program.

Morningstar Rating™ - For each fund with at least a three-year history, Morningstar calculates a Morningstar Rating based on a Morningstar Risk-Adjusted Return measure as of the date indicated that accounts for variation in a fund's monthly performance including the effects of sales charges, loads (except for load-waived A shares), and redemption fees, placing more emphasis on downward variations and rewarding consistent performance. The top 10% of funds in each category receive 5 stars, the next 22.5% receive 4 stars, the next 35% receive 3 stars, the next 22.5% receive 2 stars and the bottom 10% receive 1 star. (Each share class is counted as a fraction of one fund within this scale and rated separately, which may cause slight variations in the distribution percentages.) The Overall Morningstar Rating for a fund is derived from a weighted average of the performance figures associated with it three-, five and ten-year (if applicable) Morningstar Rating metrics. Past performance is no guarantee of future results. Morningstar Rating™ is for individual share classes only. Other classes may have different performance characteristics.
